Forest Tribe Theatre is currently casting:
We are delighted to be creating our R&D “Spiralis” - a new show for neurodivergent children.
Forest Tribe Theatre is seeking 2 performers:
1 performer who is comfortable with movement, or a trained dancer with physical theatre experience.
1 Singer with ability to play an instrument.
The R&D will culminate in a sharing taking place at two Theatre Venues in England.
“Spiralis” is an immersive bespoke production for neurodivergent children with a focus on children with ASC (Autism Spectrum Condition).
We are looking for 2 performers who are comfortable with ‘play’ and interacting with their audience members.
We are searching for:
Skilled Actor who is comfortable with physical movement OR dancer/mover who are comfortable with acting (please state your dance experience)
Skilled Musician/Singer (please state your vocal experience i.e. gospel and preferred musical instrument)
Preferably with a minimum of 2 years professional experience.
Who is able to commit to rehearsal and R&D sharing phases.
Previous work with children and if there is experience with SEND children (special educational needs and disabilities)
Preferably have DBS enhanced
We would really like to hear from diverse and inclusive BAME (Black, Asian and minority ethnic) performers.
The contract will be for :
Rehearsals: June 22nd - 26th & June 29th - 2nd July (all based in Crewe, North West)
Sharing of R&D : 3rd July(Crewe) and 7th July (London)
All rates are above ITC equity.
